Kasai's technology for tomorrow
1957
March
The late Masao Kasai established Suzuki Manufacturing in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, and began assembling and manufacturing electrical components for automobiles.
1959
January
The company changed from a sole proprietorship to a corporation and became Suzuki Seisakusho Ltd.
1963
May
A new factory was established at the current location and relocated from Nagoya.
1966
December
In order to expand business, an assembly plant was built on adjacent land.
1967
November
We established a new press processing and cutting processing department, began in-house production of parts, and sought to expand orders.
1969
April
The company changed its legal entity name to Kasai Works Co., Ltd.
1970
June
A new wire processing department was established and manufacturing of wire harnesses began.
1972
April
A new machine tool factory was established and the design and manufacture of jigs, tools, molds and labor-saving machines began.
1976
November
Received an award from Aichi Prefecture as an excellent rationalized factory.
1977
March
Constructed a specialized wire processing factory in Tarui-cho, Fuwa-gun, Gifu Prefecture, and introduced cutting-edge machinery to expand production of wire harnesses.
 1981
July
Established an industrial plastic molding factory in Danyocho, Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture, and began manufacturing automotive switch parts.
1983
September
Received the 83 fiscal year PM Excellence Award from the Japan Plant Maintenance Association.
1984
January
In order to expand the range of models produced, the South Factory was built on adjacent land as a specialized assembly factory and production began.
1986
June
In order to increase the scale of assembly, an assembly plant was built in Nagacho, Tarui-cho, Fuwa-gun, Gifu Prefecture, and production began.
1989
June
In order to increase the supply of wiring harnesses and switch assemblies, an additional production facility was built at the Tarui Plant.
1990
July
In order to expand production of pressed parts, a new factory was built in Tanyouchodosaki, Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture, and production began there. This became our parts manufacturing base together with the existing molding factory.
1991
June
In order to accommodate increased production of switches in new fields and switches for overseas markets, a new molding factory and assembly factory will be constructed at the existing Ichinomiya factory.
1993
November
Nagano Factory opened in Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture, and began manufacturing and selling automatic assembly machines and labor-saving equipment, aiming to establish a base for the manufacture of automated equipment.
1996
August
Constructed a new head office building (4 floors) and a new factory (3 floors) to expand business.
2000
December
ISO9002-1994: Certified.
2001
November
Hirashima Factory was established to accommodate increased production of molded parts.
2002
October
Established Kasugai Factory to accommodate increased production of molded parts.
2003
January
Established a joint venture company, JKC, in Toronto, Canada.
February
A new organization, the Technology Development Department, will be established.
July
ISO9001-2000: Certified.
2004
September
The Canadian plant name was changed to Kasai Canada Inc.
2005
March
Nagano factory relocated and newly constructed due to strong orders for labor-saving equipment.
2006
November
The Labor-Saving Equipment Division (Nagano Factory) was spun off and launched as a new company, Kasai Techno Co., Ltd.
2007
July
Established the Chiaki Factory to secure capacity due to increased production volume.
2008
November
ISO14001 (Environmental Management System) certified
2010
 January
 
 September
 In order to concentrate management resources, we will aim to integrate organizations and bases.
 
 The integration of organizations and bases has been completed, and the management structure will be revamped.
2011
 August
 A Procurement Department will be established with the aim of improving procurement functions.
 October
 An improvement office will be established with the aim of strengthening TPS.
 December
 Re-acquired ISO14001 (environmental management system) certification.
2014
 March
  Established local subsidiary "Kasai Advanced MFG. Philippines Inc." in the Philippines.
2015
 February
 KAMP (Kasai Advanced MFG. Philippines Inc.) factory completed.
 April
 The North Factory at the head office is expanded and remodeled to accommodate increased production. 
2016
March
KAMP(Kasai Advanced MFG. Philippines Inc.) FactoryOperational.

Philippine subsidiary "KAMP" holds 10th anniversary ceremony
